Listening first: thoughtful decision-making in council
Good governance begins with careful consideration. As councillor at large, I have always prioritized listening to local voices before casting a vote. Sound leadership means never making decisions quickly or in an isolated vacuum, but taking the time to consult residents, review facts thoroughly, and represent community priorities with care.
Building a township where youth can flourish
A healthy, vibrant North Kawartha must be a place where the next generation can thrive. I am dedicated to expanding local opportunities, strengthening community infrastructure, and supporting family livelihoods so young people do not have to relocate to urban centres to build bright, rewarding lives.
An open door for every community member
Accessibility remains the foundation of Ruth Anne’s public service. Whether you have a question about municipal services, lake stewardship, or township planning, Ruth Anne is always available to talk. Even when an answer is not immediately at hand, she is committed to listening, finding the facts, and following through for North Kawartha.
