A clear vision for North Kawartha
As councillor-at-large and candidate for deputy mayor, I believe our community thrives when we pair disciplined fiscal management with practical investments in our people, environment, and local economy. Your voice guides every policy, please connect anytime with your thoughts at ram4dm@yahoo.com.

Responsible financial stewardship
With a professional background in financial services, I bring accountability, foresight, and sound planning to township finances. When something does not work—such as our initial Community Improvement Grant rollout—we adapt using real data to rebuild programs properly. I am committed to safeguarding taxpayer dollars while investing strategically in the essential services that support both year-round and seasonal residents.

Housing and sustainable community growth
North Kawartha needs attainable housing options and modernized zoning bylaws that recognize our rural character. In partnership with county, provincial, and federal leaders, I will champion solutions where young families can afford to settle and thrive. That includes pushing for permanent school infrastructure to replace portables, keeping our youth anchored and supported right here in our township.

Connected communities and year-round economy
Protecting our pristine lakes and forests goes hand-in-hand with supporting a resilient local economy. I support year-round small businesses, upgraded digital infrastructure, and expanded community access—such as full digital connectivity at the Woodview Community Centre to host township meetings and expanded hours for our Woodview library branch. Together, we can build a connected, vibrant township in every season.
